i know this has probably been asked a thousand times but i need to ask 1001 times, because i searched for about 2 hours looking for an answer so if anyone could help i would be very thankful.

well its my dads 1998 s-10 blazer with 4.3, he just bought 2 weeks ago and allready put in a fuel pump,plugs,wires,cap,rotor,fuel filter,complete spider assy.,in this thing (after the fact that i told him how great these trucks and engines are) its starting to make me look bad...

it all started with a hard start, but now after all that i am getting (cant remember the 2 code#'s) but its code that say's egr stuck and something about the vacuum system?

ok i know egr is easy to change but he has a few vacuum lines around the rear of the left fender 1 open going nowhere and pulling vacuum its a T and one end going to the intake if i remember right?

well first question is can i please have a link to a vacuum diagram of this thing? and second he is complaining of very poor mileage about 12-13mpg?

i know when i had my 95 s-10 4x4 4.3 truck i was getting around 24-25 hwy, so could this problem he's having now be the cause of this poor of mileage? what should a 2 wd truck like this get on average? remember they are over 80 years old so its babied and mostly hwy miles

also i mite ad..i did re-use the intake gasket with a little rtv..ok? or not?..still looked like new though

clicker reads=165k

runs great no smoke, starts great.

i am a little baffled on this one....

Not sure myself.. my 98 4.3 only gets 13-15mpg.. it has 172k on it, doesnt leak anywhere or smoke either. I just figured that was normal for a 4x4.. Blazer is a bit heavier than the pickup though..
