What diagnostic steps led you to replace the items that you did, or were you merely throwing parts at the problem?

Have you followed the steps in 96+ Fuel System Diagnosis?

I had a similar problem right before my fuel pump completely died. When it did I got no codes and ended up changing several things before finding out it was the pump.

So i am replacing the fuel filter. i have went off the codes and that is what led me to replacing the sensors that i have. fuel pump is next and im wondering a good brand? autozone has an airtex complete with the strainer for 309, but rockauto, com has the same part plus many more for less. any reviews or suggestions?

yeah for sure dont go with the airtex, They dont last, only go with OEM, it costs more but last way longer and come with better warranties
