dash lights
When ever I press the break pedal my dash lights dim to where they are barley readable. Any ideas what is causing this?

RE: dash lights
What are you driving? (year, style, motor....)
Go to your local Advance Auto and have them check your Alternator. Before my alternator went up, I was noticing that the headlights would randomly dim and then come back. Also, the dash lights would dim....... If this is it, you're in luck because alternators are easy to replace. Not too cheap though.

RE: dash lights
I have a 2004, 2dr, 2wd. I hope it's not the Alternator, if it is this will be the 2nd time I will be replacing it.
On another note, when I depress the break pedal, and the dash lights dim, if I activate the right turn signal they go back to bright. There is no change when the left turn signal is activated.

well, the problem is still there... We don't have self healing wiring harnesses... But it could just be a bad connection on a plug or something...
