Yesterday the PRND123 lights and the mileage lights on my blazer would flash, then go out, come on, then start the process over again. Today those lights worked but when I got in to start it, it wouldn't start. The engine cranks but won't start. Could the two problems be connected? What could be causing it? Thank you!

 

It is quite possible that it is an ignition switch failure (check the link in my signature). To elaborate further, we need to know a little bit more about your vehicle. Year at a bare minimum.

It's a 2001 model.
