Finally someone listens about the REAL manuals. You are to be congratulated. It'll tell you how to fix about anything on your truck and the troubleshooting guides are awesome if you follow them step by step. Some call for a Tech 1 scan tool but I've managed to work around that issue. Mine is a 94.

It's true about those service manuals. I already used them to help me figure out how to get my kids rear bumper off (actually just loose) so I could replace the spare tire hoist. Manuals showed me where the bottom bolts were. Would have found them eventually but it was a lot quicker. I must say that after having taken on a number of projects on my kids Blazer I have a much greater respect for GOOD auto mechanics. You guys work hard for the money.

which fuel pump
Was wondering which fuel pump you ended up using? I also have the problem of a 98 blazer, 4 door, steel tank, according to manual 18 gallons, do not have the ne2 rpo or the k55. Looks to me like the mu1733 is for the plastic tank and the mu1772 is for the steel tank w/o 18 gal. Those are the 2 pumps acdelco calls for with my vin. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

I ended up calling a local dealership with my vin# and thet said I needed the MU1772 fuel pump.It was more expensive but it works fine so far.
