Default diagnostic help

2000 140kmiles
new plugs, rotor, distributor cap, wires, fuel filter

My wife was driving our blazer in 104 degree heat, with the ac blasting, up a mountain with a vertical gain of about 3000ft. She said she heard a noise . She describes it as loud and coming from the front passenger's side, but who knows. She felt the truck lacked power after the noise.

Good girl that she is, she pulled over and turned it off. When I got there and started it, it didn't turn over as flawlessly as it normally does and the engine felt strained at lower speeds. We gingerly drove it home, though it seemed fine on the highway.

Right now I notice more vibration at idle, way more at 1500-2500rpms, and it starts fine. So I'm trying not to drive it. Any ideas are much appreciated.

Are you having the trouble with the ac on or does it do it with the ac off as well?

vibration is with or without ac, and the ac seems to work well.

Is it making any noise? Does it vibrate going down the road? Or is it the engine vibrating?

it vibrates when I am in park and rev-ing it a bit, so the engine is whats vibrating. I guess it must be vibrating when I am driving but it isn't as noticeable. There is no noise. Acoustically, the engine sounds fine. I think some people wouldn't notice it, but being OCD about it I am very aware of it.
