Default Diagnostic Software

Hey guys,

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, I did a search on the container, and didn't really see any other threads that would fit with my question. I didn't want to highjack anyone else's thread. I have a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer two wheel drive, with a 4.3 Vortec. The diag setup on this car is OBD1.5. I am in the process of building my own cable so I can pull live data and diagnose a code 44 that I am getting more accurately. Seems to be pretty simple, as far as building the cable, what I need to know is has anyone here done this before, if so, what software did you use to pull the live data? I new to building my own ALDL cable, and getting the software I need to display the data coming from the PCM.

Thanks
Shadow Rider

I think I've seen posts elsewhere on sites dedicated to OBD decoding using software. You might have to look at those places.
