Disable anti theft system
I have a 1999 Jimmy (Canada if that matters). Is there anyway I can disable the security system so that I can use a regualr cut key. I have no need for this system and at 100.00 a pop for a new one I dont want it.

does your key look like this? 
if so there is nothing special about it and you can use any ordinary key blank.... $2 at the local hardware store...
