i'd like to permanently disable the daytime running lamps on my '97 blazer (i turn the headlights on when driving, so the DRLs are only on when i don't want them to be). searched the forums, read a few posts, still not 100% certain about how to accomplish this. anyone care to clear things up for me?

I would have a look in the under hood fuse panel for a DRL relay. Remove the DRL relay and check that everything else works ok.

On the 97's the fuse is in the fuse block next to the driver's side door (inside the truck)
Pull the fuse and you're good to go.

the '00 blazer is quite a bit different than the '97. All he needs to do is pull the fuse, on the '00 you have to pull the relay and bend back the tab.
