distributor ignition pickup

Default distributor ignition pickup

what does the pickup igntion midule do? I have good fuel pressure and great spark. I was told by a mechanic that this module under the rotor in the distributor operates the injectors is this acuurate thanks Rob

The camshaft position sensor is located under the rotor in the distributor housing. The CMP sensor is used for spark and fuel injector timing on the '96+ trucks. For the '95 CPI motor, it is used for spark control. The reason I state this is because you did not specify the year of truck you have...

Hey Kyle thanks alot i really appreciate your help it is a 2000 blazer so that is most likely why my injectors seem to be not working. I really do appreciate the sharing of your knowledge Rob

Maybe a silly question but did you check the injector fuse?
What is your fuel pressure? "Good" pressure needs to be 55 to 60psi
I'm guessing that your engine won't start.
