Default Distributor replacement

Just wanted to get some information about a distributor for a 2001 4.3 blazer. The Duralast distributor that I got from autozone doesn't have the mounting bracket or hold down bracket on the new distributor. Will the original bracket come off the old distributor so I can put on the new one??? Reading other comments, I have another concern how about the distributor placement.
crankshaft relearn I have recently replaced the crankshaft sensor. How can I have the computer relearn the crankshaft sensor.

Return the Duralast, can't get any lower quality stuff Best to get an all aluminum distributor on Ebay from Skip White, $50 shipped. Comes with the bracket, cap & rotor. Strongly recommend using AC Delco and pitch the cap & rotor that comes with it.
Camshaft retard will need to be checked and adjusted after installing the distributor. The crankshaft position sensor relearn only needs to be done if you have disturbed the original sensor, or replaced the PCM. Both of those procedures require a high end scan tool. The $500 el cheapos can't do it.
