Default Does anybody know where this vacuum line attaches?

I've been trying for 2 days now to figure out where this thing attaches and I give up. I cranked the car and it does not seem to blow or suck air out of it. Does anyone know where it attaches too? Or it could not be a vacuum line at all.

That is the line that goes the actuator under the battery tray that locks the right front axle to the differential when 4wd is selected.

No engine performance problem until 4wd is selected or the switch on the firewall begins to leak.
