Default Does anyone know what sensor this is?

the numbers on the box is:

1045-6617
10456617

Sensor CM/SHF

There is a picture of the sensor and the box, I bought this on ebay and the seller posted it as a Coolant Temp Sensor, since The Blazer has 151,000 miles I figured to buy it for 10.00..

But from what I read this is not a Coolant temp sensor...

Thanks

That would be a cam shaft position sensor for a 2.2L (non-DOHC) and 2.4L four banger engine found in a cavalier, sunfire, and... whatever else from GM came with the 2.2L SOHC and 2.4L engine. Applications ranging from 95-03.
