My friend has a 93 that hes going to give me....Im hoping I can strip it down and use it for spare parts...Im interested in x-fer case, x-mision and engine block and basically what ever else hopefully is the same

I wonder if theres any sites that would "auto cross reference" this for me. I have a funny feeling Ill be crawling under it to read part numbers..

what motor do you have X or W vin code? all depends on the vin code for the motor.

 

I have a "W" engine...they both look the same....Upper plenum and such

Im hoping even if they are not 100% compatible, that stuff like the altrinator and starter would match..


Ive been doing searches, so far it looks like the fuel pumps are the same...probably same sending units too,...

I also just checked..they are both 8th digit W vins

 

how is the body on the 93??? if its in good condition i'd be interested in some front doors and tail gate.

 

Im not sure how good the body is..I didnt really look at it too close...Im in Canada though, I wont be getting the truck into my laneway until june or so...If your still interested Ill take some pics of it when I get it..


If the 93 doesnt have a crank shaft position sensor, does that mean the block wont work in a 95?
