Doe's anyone know what these two hoses are?
1996 Chevy Blazer 4.3L V6 4x4 4L60e tranny
I caught sight of these hoses while changing the valve body. They seem to be coming from above the tail end of my transmission. I can't tell exactly because it's too carmped to see or feel where they start from. I'm a little worried cause one of them has like a 1 in 2 out vacuum line type thing at the end of it and the other one looks like it's been ripped or cut with a butter knife. Are these two hose just supposed to be hanging like this.

Can't tell exactly from the pictures, but they are for the 4WD, (which probably doesn't work now). There are 3 lines that attach to the vacuum switch on the driver side of the transfer case, just inboard and slightly above the encoder motor:
