I did a search and came up with a few things but didn't really answer my question. I have a 01 Blazer, all the lights work. The radio cuts off when the door is open and all of that. When I roll the switch all the way up for the dome light it comes on when I hit the button it cuts on while driving or when I have the doors open. Here's the thing though the dome light ONLY comes on if I roll the switch up or hit the button not when I open any door. So I want to be able to open any door and hatch and the dome light comes on automatically and when I shut the doors the dome light goes out automatically. Can anyone help???

Dome oVerRide Button?

 

I understand its a dome override button but I don't get how it works. I cant seem to get the dome lights to come on automatically when I open the doors.

 

shut the dome light off open the door and click the button once if the lights dont come on then go in by the rear hatch and see if there is a switch on the little light back there my blazer does dunno if the newer ones have it tho
