Unhappy dont want to go

hi all newbee here. ok i have a 2000 blazer changed fuel pump about 1 month ago fixed all problems. now when running and it gets to 2500-3000 rpm it seems like it is clogh up . deep grawl sound and no power then spits out and stalls .I NEED HELP PLEASE . THANK YOU

check the fuel pressure; do a search here and you will find all the details.

Also check for a plugged catalytic converter.

Yep...as rriddle3 says. Remove the pre-cat O2 sensor with engine cold. If possible put something to deflect the hot exhaust from hitting the underside.
Start engine and see if any difference. If so, then cat is plugged...replace. Best is to replace entire pre-cat, cat and cross-over assembly, but you can also just replace the cat by cutting out and welding one in. Trouble is the pre-cat could also be plugged-up.

now it hardly starts and runs.will not get over 1500 rpms with out stalling. have to let it cool to check the cat i guess??????????

it is a delpi been fine for 4 weeks now

ok have a hard time thinking its the pump now, maybe cat or fuel filter

Also would do a leak down again, when I put my pump in I sprung a small leak just from moving things around

Did you change the fuel filter on the frame when you did the pump?
