Door jam switch wire location

Door jam switch wire location
Ok, call me lazy but see if someone can help me out here.
I removed the ENTIRE dash on our '99 4-door Blazer to install ampifier (wire power direct to battery through firewall) and to also check the heater core for leak (smell in car). Anyway, took care of my issues and now putting everything back together but I can not find the wire connector that is supposed to connect to the right side (front) door jam switch.
I have looked all over the place and can not determine where this suckers cames from. I don't want to take the dash apart again (you try it!!!) and am hoping someone can give me an idea to avoid this. This is crazy that we can not find this. Any ideas?

Can anyone answer this? I removed the dash in my 2000 Blazer to change the heater core and for the life of me I can not find the wire that goes to the passengers front door switch!

Ok, So.. Apparently Chevy changed the wiring for the door switch in 2000, but didnt remove the switches from the dash.
There is NO wire. The switch just plugs a hole in the side of the dash. It serves no other purpose.
I stuck it in the hole with no wire on it after searching for at least an hour and just for kicks, closed all the doors. The dome lights worked as they are supposed to, even by opening and closing the passenger door.
I have no freakin idea why the would leave the switch in the dash if there's one in the door.
But....it works.
