Do you guy's have keyless entry? I think that might be a factor in it. I looked in a 98 manual on mygmlink and it didn't say anything about auto locks soI don't know. Worked for me thats all that matters haha

Keyless entry...Check! Glad it works for you. I actually tried to figure this out right away because my Mother's '03 4DR S10 has automatic locks and wanted to see if mine did. No dice...

I still believe that it can be activated through programming of the BCM because I know I have ridden in pre'01 S-series trucks that had it enabled. Just not user-programmable. I wouldn't want it that way anyhow. I like how it is on my Rainier with unlock in park.

Well that's weird I would have though all of them had it if mine did. Your locks never lock right?

I own a 2001 4WD LT model. since a couple of weeks my lock dont close automatically anymore.

I tried programming it by pulling the turnsignal-lever and turning the key ON and OFF twice. But mu locks then dont open and close. So Iguess it does not go into programming mode. I tried to lock and unlock twice. But nothing changes.

please advice.

Wow... 2007.

I believe the method you are referring to only works on the 2002+. Things changed in 2002. I remember that I could not duplicate this with my 2000 Bravada.

So what changed? I am not saying that it is not possible to have rolling locks, just that the programming procedure works for 2002+. The earlier trucks would need to have the dealer change this option.
