Default Driver's side window problem

I have a 2002 Blazer, the 2 door version. Having problems with the drivers side window binding when I roll it up or down. Found the problem...at the bottom of the window there is a horizontal metal track and there are two arms with bearings that ride in that track as the window roes up or down...on one side, that bearing is totally gone, just worn away...I think that was because at one end, the vertical track was lose at the bottom, I had to tighten that up. So the question is, can a person get a replacement bearing and if so, where? Or, am I going to have to replace the entire mechanism? It\s all riveted, so that would be another issue, would have to drill all of those out. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I would not worry about it as much if it was the passenger side, but I need the drivers side to work.

You might be able to get the bearing part by cannibalizing one from a wrecked Blazer. I'd go with a passenger side one that would have much less wear on it.

Dorman has a surprising amount of odd parts. You might look there too.

As far as the rivets, that's easy. You just drill out the old ones and buy an inexpensive rivet tool and a handful of the proper sized rivets. Its easy to use.

You could also check with the dealer. I have gotten quite a few things there and they are surprisingly inexpensive most of the time.

I saw YouTube where a guy needed to replace the (02 blazer?) window motor. Apparently with all the rivets and the springs it's difficult and dangerous job. What he did was to buy the motor and arms assembly in one piece and replace that. It's a pretty good video and maybe a good idea too.
