Default DRL will not work?

DRL lowbeams do not come on during daylight but if I click to high beam the high beams come on during day light.
Low beams come on when sensor sees low light condition and low beams come on with manual switch.
Replaced DRL relay did not help.

Would the DRL module be the problem? Is it easy to change? It isUnder the dash somewhere?

1999 S10 Blazer 2 door LS 4.3L 4x4

thanks

I could be very possible that a previous owner disabled the DRL. There are a couple of ways to do it but I can't remember which way is which for a 99.

Have owners manual, nothing about resetting DRL only description on how they operate. In Canada if that makes a difference with owners manual.

ok heressome info from my manual... First off does your blazer have a button on the dash under the headlight switch that says dome override? if so let me know, if not, then my manual says in big letters ( The following does not apply to vehicles sold in canada) i`m not sure what part their actually speaking of.. let me know either way..

ok this is what manual says turn ignition to "run" position (do not start of course),,,( To return to automatic mode, push the dome override button 4 times within 6 seconds( a chime will sound) or turn the ignition to off and then to run position again!!!! Let me know if that works....

No chime but seemed to work. Maybe new relay and the reset method were both needed.

Thanks
