dual exhaust

Default dual exhaust

I just had dual exhaust put on my wife's 2000 blazer and was wondering why is there more air flow on one side than the other. It is a true dual one pipe per side and the side with the longest pipe has more air flow out of it.

if you run a h-pipe or x-pipe they will scavenge from each other and will run better

Easy fix - just go back to the shop that installed the dual system and ask them to weld in an equalizer pipe - normally placed after the cats and in front of the mufflers . Will also boost bottom end torque I've found ...

Those of you with dual exhaust....do you have a 4wd or 2wd? I would sure like to see a dual exhaust setup on a 4wd 4 door Blazer. I have wanted to do this as well, but I see no good routing of the pipes due to transfer case, fuel tank, etc.

Pictures????

I have found that every time I get under the hood or underneath the chassis of my Blazer I wonder if this is what it is like working in the dashboard of a Space Shuttle.
