Can anybody tell me? Can I use a computer from a Blazer or Jimmy for my 98 Bravada?

Depends on the year. You must use a 98-00 s-series pcm and it must be programmed to your vehicle prior to attempting to use it.

So what your saying is I should just get one from another 98 bravada?

No. That is not what I am saying at all. Regardless of the source, any 98-00 S-series PCM will need to be programmed to your vehicle (i.e. the VIN & programmed options need to be changed in the PCM before it will be of use to you).
