Default 2001 Blazer 4X4 ECU Reset itself?

Went to the store after dark , noticed voltage gauge slightly below 14 volts, and selector, compass and odometer displays strobing slightly. Shut off went to store then restarted car, stalled, and then started and ran fine, checked for codes and noticed that a reset had taken place. Inspection is due this month, and I am afraid this will happen again. Checked battery cables, fuses, scanned computer, and found nothing. Has anyone experienced this problem.......Never experience a complete reset without disconnecting battery or resetting with scan tool?

Get yourself over to Autozone or Advanced Auto had have them put your truck onto their battery/charging system diagnostic device.

Replace alternator, and belt. Checked all wiring to battery with a/c on high and high beams on at idle I now only get 12.6 Volts @ 2000 RPM 14.5 Volts. Is this normal? AutoZone says that the charging system is now okay.
