Ahh...thanks for the wiring diagrams, ill print them out. Here is the kicker, i just looked at the passenger side door courtesy light switch...i pulled it out from the side dash panel, and there isn't a wiring harness there??? Im thinking maybe when that chop shop did the heater core they didn't bother reconnecting it? And i cant' seem to find the harness....or if there had been one there..why would there be a switch with no harness? Im hoping it didn't get lose behind the dash and screwed there and then shorted...b/c that would be the only culprit.

The front door switches are in the latch inside the door. GM just put the old switch there to mess with us.

Thanks for all your help, when i slam the door hard enough, the relay decides to work...ill get into the door and go from there i guess..nothing like an electrical issue..unless its in the harness that continues to travel through out the truck, im not sure..i wiggled wires under the dash of the passenger side, and the buzzing didn't go off until i slammed the passenger door, then the over head light turned on, buzzing went away..everything worked. Why is there a plug switch on the driverside door and not the passenger side door?
