I had a remote but I never got it back from the shop that I took it to. The other remote is my wife's and she doesn't know where that one is either. I will poke around for hers and see if I can find it. I'm not too concerned about mine because the case was cracked and it didn't really work anymore.

If it is an aftermarket remote system that is preventing starting you should be able to disable it by unplugging the harness or pulling the main fuse. it will probably be under the driver-side dash somewhere.

I was referring to the factory. I am going to test the starting circuit with a voltmeter and go from there.

Ok, so I checked the crank fuse, no voltage even when turning the key. I had ground at pin 86, and voltage at 30. However, 85 only had about 4.5 volts. Here is the weird part. I jumped 87 to 12 volts and it started. So I drove it around the block and now it starts. I tried it like 5 times and it started every time. I may drive it to work tomorrow.

I drove it to work today 19 miles. So far no issues as far as running. However, my radio has the worst ground loop noise I have ever heard. That might be because I wired my amp to my alternator instead of the battery.

I drove it home from work, took my son to school and drove to work today. No more issues. The ground loop is actually from the audio cable that goes into the auxiliary input from the Sirius radio. I might just switch that back to using FM instead.

Good you got that running again.

I have the VSS signal push through when the radio signal gets weak as in a tunnel or so. Have to check the antenna cable.

Switched the radio back to the FM input. I use an
FM modulator FM modulator
for it. The ground loop noise is gone. It must have been the cable I was using or the audio output on the sirius unit. I still need to wire up my backup camera and that is about it. I really appreciate everyone's input on this. It was a tremendous pain. Drove it everywhere for the last 3 days, no issues so far.
