Default electrical issues

so the other day my gauge lights and taillights went out. so i checked the fuses and found the one that had blew, changed it it blew again and again. so im thinking its a short somewhere. is there an easier way to find out for sure or do i just have to rip everything apart and dig. btw i have a 95 s10 blazer ls

ive been away for awhile but i did figure the issue out. i have a valance on my truck and the wires were rubbing on the inside of my door which caused a spark, thus blowing the fuse. just thought i should let you guys know incase anyone has a similar issue.
