Default Electrical problem on an '01 Blazer

Recently, I have noticed that when the running lights shift to the head lights, my clock, and temperature displays shut off as well as the the background lights for my gauges. Has anyone else had this problem, if so do you know of any solutions? Thanks in advance!

Is your dimmer switch rolled all the way up? If not you've got your interior lights dimmed to off..which is why they only cut out when your headlights go on!

Thanks. That was the problem. I hadn't thought of that since I never use that switch. I recently had work done on it so I guess the mechanic may have messed with it by accident.
