Just recently my2002 Blazer'semergency brake pedalno longer catches as you step on it to set it. Anyone have any experience similar?I removed parts of the plastic interior to take a peak above the pedal. Although it was hard to see, I could feel theteeth above the brake pedal lever but they didn't seem to be engaging anything as I pushed the pedal down. I had the rear brakes serviced several months ago and all seemed fine till just the other day so I'm thinking its a problem under the dash as opposed to at the rear wheels. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

The S Series have a problem with thePARKING BRAKEassembly going bad. I have replaced quite a few of these recently. Pretty easy to do and not all that expensive. Korey.
