There are a lot of hoses/valves on top of the tank.. You are going to have to be more specific as to its location...

What were you doing when you broke it?

ha, well i mean its literally ON the tank, like attached to it. i was replacing the fuel pump so i was taking the tank down, and i didnt see that hose on the front of the tank itself (looking @ it from the back of the vehicle)

I think he's talking about the vent valve on the front of the tank. You either have to go to the dealer to get a new one or get one from the JY. They just twist in. Takes about 15 sec to replace it.

It's a vent valve that puts the gasoline vapors into the emissions system. The fuel level float is built into the fuel pump.

Did you make sure you put the fuel pump in the little tab where it fits? If not the float may be stuck.

Here is the sending unit that is part of the fuel pump.

make sure you support the tank or you will do like I did and break the barbs off of the pump then you have to get another one.

Note the tab on the top of the fuel pump. The square connector is for the fuel pump and sending unit. The other one is a vacuum sensor

I hope this answers your questions
