engine light on codes P1860 & P0300 98 Chevy Blazer
I went to get my truck checked for the engine light and those were the two codes that popped up. I was told it could be multiple causes for the code p0300... maybe a background to what's been going on with the truck can hopefully help determine what i need to fix... every time it rains my truck won't start. It cranks like it wants to start but doesn't. Also majority of the time it takes acouple of seconds for it to start. My guess is i need to change out the spark plugs, wires, and fuel injector? Also for the p1860 what is it that i need? My truck is up for inspection i really need the engine light off to pass

I would start with plugs wires cap and rotor, use delco parts this way no hassles ..
this may clear up your other code as well,I can't find any definition for the p1860 code but as i say tune up everything first, as for the injectors i would suspect they are fine..
do you smell gas in that area?

i found the definition for the code P1860 it is TCC PWM SOLENOID CIRCUIT ELECTRICAL,
IT HAS TO DO WITH A FAULT IN THE TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH APPARENTLY SOMETIMES CHANGING THE TRANSMISSION FLUID WILL SOLVE THAT ISSUE, IF NOT I BELIEVE I READ IT IS INSIDE THE TRANNY ALSO CHECK THE WIRING CONNECTIONS COULD JUST BE DIRTY OR CORRODED
