Les in thinking about what you said about international fraud I had all but given up on owning The Tech 2 then thought to google the reviews just to see how bad it could be with that company. It guided me to another site and they offered the same package with a cheaper price including shipping $378.00 out the door and here is the best part they use PayPal out the door and my tech 2 is on it,s way without giving up any information. Will let you know how it works when I get it think it was 5 day delivery.Again will wait to see how well it works then will need to sell three code readers two Innova,s and the new CP 9680 Actron

Tech2 Diagnostic Scan Tool for GM with Candi Interface (GM/SAAB/OPEL/SUZUKI/ISUZU/Holden)
try this link. this is the site I bought mine from, couldn't find it earlier. The "Tech2" connects to all GM cars with obd2, the candi interface is for advanced cars. This is just a tool, it will not fix your car. It will give you data, you have to be able to interpret what it's telling you. You still have to do a drive cycle. Maybe you should pay a shop. I'm done.

Les your not going to believe this today I went to my parents because that's were my garage and compressor along with all my heavy duty equip to work on my car is.I bought that $150.00 smoker advertised on EBay and it didn't even work as good as my sister,s e cigg after trying to get it to smoke well enough so I could test the lines in my system I gave up and did some other things that I wanted to do but most of the day was ruined by the so called smoker. While trying to get the smoke into the evap system I back-probed the purge and hit it with my 12 volt probe tester the purge kicked on and off sounding funny like a starter with a dead battery. But never the less it worked even though I couldn't smoke it.then put everything away and noticed I had lost the valve stem under the green cap so just screwed on the cap and started home.Got real weak while driving home because I am diabetic so I stopped along side the road to get some of my Glucose tab,s to bring my sugar level back up so I could continue. Don't know why but pulled out the actron tester along side the freeway and plugged it in.Guess what some were either on the 35 mile drive to my parents or while back probing the purge valve or the 15 miles still on my way home the evap system reset itself now the smoker didn't smoke like it was supposed to but it had a regulator on it low volume and I had it hooked up at the purge and to my compressor that is were and how I lost the backwards threaded stem so don't know what did it but something did my evap and all of the im,s are set ready for the emission test next month. But it figures when it reset I wasn't even aware so I couldn't tell if it was the drive to parents no drive cycle at all or something I did this afternoon I will never know for sure. But its fixed. This is the last evap post from me yea.

When you get the clone Tech2 please evaluate its capabilities and post results (might want to wait until after your emissions test!).

You know Les again thank you for all your help and advice.Again on the evap monitor passing I think you hit it on the head when you said it wasn't the OBII that had anything to do with it not passing all I did that Saturday was drive 70 miles to my Parents home and try for hours to get that new piece of -- to smoke and it never did so I wasted that sunny day by the way the first one since the start of winter don't know how warm it got.But am sure it wasn't anything I did to the monitor more than likely reset because of the warm sunshine like you said it had been to cold for the evap test to complete because the gas wasn't warming up enough to build any preasure that's my theory today got my manuals and Thursday will get my tester and like you said is know reason to use it yet but will keep you informed on how impressive it should be.Know any one in need of a actron CP 9680 -Innova 3100--or Innova 3150 will let them go cheap.

Les you know I will still think the evap monitor passed because of temp but the post you put on line said 39 deg up to 90 deg or so for testing the evap system.
And this is going to make me wonder because its been 54 or so all those days I failed at the drive cycle but the Saturday when it passed it was only 57 deg or so.But that smoker I had hooked up at the purge valve green cap removed and stem as well.Had a low pressure regulator on it so it would only put in a pound or so of pressure at the purge.and this is why I started thinking weather or not it was the temp or the pressure.Clean Dry Low Pressure Gas source Notice
Notice Use the evap pressure/purge diagnostic station j41413 in order to provide a clean, dry low pressure gas source.Do not substitute any other pressurized gas source. Damage may result to the evap system. What do you think made it pass that Saturday.

I will let you know how it works after emission test but got to tell you those gm manuals are great go to the index find what it is your looking for go rite to the page its great. Now think I will try to find the purge valve and its operation like to know when was applying low air pressure to it then touched the 12 volt probe to the power wire and like I said didn't just click of and on it pulsed very quickly.
