Swapping the tach and manual 4x4 selector from my parts blazer to my ride How do I remove the dash to retrieve the wire harness stuff I'm gonna need out of the donor so I can make sure everything works right both are 95s with w code motors

The tach cluster should not be a problem and should plug and play, IIRC.

As far as the manual 4x4 selector... You are going to have to swap the entire transfer case over. If you currently have the push button 4wd, then you have the NP233 transfer case. The manual 4wd was the NP231 transfer case. They are swappable and should be the same length.

The instrument cluster is just plug and play.. I did it to my 96. No wiring involved. Remove the instrument cluster fascia. Drop the steering column, remove the screws holding the cluster to the dash and out it comes. Your going to need a 7 MM socket or nutdriver. Its pretty painless.

Thats the abbreviated version but you get the idea.

Concerning the switch from electronic to manual transfer case actuation, you just need the wiring diagrams to know where to go... If I get some time, I can see about finding them when I get home. I do not have the required references at work...

BTW, there is no need to PM for tech help. The purpose of a forum is to keep the information and questions open to all that need help or can provide help.
