Fan clutch questions

RE fan clutch
This is about the electric fan.Auto manufacturers have been putting electric fans on cars and trucks for years and they have proven to be reliable.Sure they fail after years of use, what doesnt?I think the cost and a few extra parts are worth it in my opinion espealiy if you want more power and better gas milelege.
I also have a direct drive flex fan on my 94 chevy which I used to replace a bad fan clutch.Once again more power and better fuel economy.Guess Im not fond of those noisy clutch fans.

Yes, until recent years. Now they are putting them in just about everything. Clutch fans will soon me a thing of the past, and heavy equipment.

Don't get your hopes up too high, about all you'll really notice is that it's quieter, and that's only because it doesn't move as much air. Come Summer, when you're sitting in traffic with the AC on, you'll wish you had the fan clutch

I have yet to run into that issue with electric fans. I ran into more overheating issues in high temp scenarios with the clutch fan.
