Yellow: What does that ground go to? Both sides just have it dangling there.
Red: Do my headlights slide into that area?

I can't figure out for the life of me how to get them in that darn red zone. I guess I will have to try when it's day light out.

 

Yup get them in there so they are secure!

Yellow looks exactly how I did my quad beam mod. See if the high beam ground has been cut or altered. Thats all I can think of.

 

Take your grill off! Most are held in by pressure clips. That'll make it much easier to secure the bottom tabs in the slots. You might need to do a light alignment, but at least they won't look like they're pointing towards the sky.

 

My high beams work fine so i doubt it goes to them.

 

Well sometimes when people do the quad beam mod they ground it to the radiator support. I don't know why they would have disconnected it, though. All that mod does is let's your low beams stay on when you flip on the high beams. I need to do that on my truck since I have HID low beams.

 

I actually just bought a whole grill assembly, headlights and turn signal lights due to a tractor trailer being infront of me on the interstate, driving over a tire and slamming it right into my front bumper. It broke all of the assembly behind my one turn signal light so I had to get a whole new grill. I was wondering if I had to uninstall my headlights and turn signal lights to get to the grill to take it off. ( either way I have to take out my headlights.. just want to know the best approach of doing this)

 

I assume yours is a 98+ model. The turn signals just mount in the grill so when you pull the old grill off, just unplug the bulbs from the back and you're free. You can take the headlights off before or after you do that. Doesn't make a huge difference but taking them off before may make it just a tiny bit easier.

 

I went back today to fix my head lights and I found this. Could this be what my black wire would have went to? Does everyones ride have this bulb or was the previous owner added bulbs?
