Good afternoon all,
New to the forum and returning to the Blazer world, had an 87 about 12 years ago that was totaled.
Picking up a 2000 S10 Blazer, 4WD (3 button) within the next few days and want to replace some fluids, has about 75k miles. I'm having trouble locating the correct fluid types / capacities for this truck though.
I want to replace the Front / Rear Differential Fluids, Transfer Case and Transmission.
Transmission: I have a couple quarts of STP ATF+4 but wasn't sure if i should grab Dexron VI instead (can't find Dexron III as the manual states). How much does it need if i'm just dropping pan and replacing filter?
Front / Rear Diff: Manual said 80W-90, how much needed in each Diff?
Transfer Case: Since i have the 3 button 4WD switch, from what i can see, it looks like I don't need Auto Trak II fluid, but should i actually get Transfer Case Fluid, or just use the same ATF fluid i'm putting in the trans (referring to question above, ATF+4 vs Dexron VI.)
Thanks a lot everyone. Sorry if i missed the thread of here where it actually breaks this all down.

Ok so here we go I will list them from the front to the back
Front Diff- 80w-90; BUT 75w-90 GL5 can also be used capacity 1.5 qts
Transmission- Dexron VI if dropping the pan 7 qts
Transfer case Dexron VI 2.5 qts
Rear Diff- 80w90 or 75w90 GL5 just like the front 2 qts
and there is also an attachment for even more infor if it loads

Awesome! Thanks a lot, all of you! One question, apparently the truck has the 4 button tcase. Picked it up today and must have saw it wrong before. Does that just change the fluid from Dexron VI to Auto Trak II for the tcase? Same 2.5qts?
And does anyone trust the Valvoline TCase Fluid from AutoZone? It says it's compatible with Auto Trak II fluid: http://www.autozone.com/motor-oil-an...uid/548658_0_0
