My mirrors are heated, and turn on when I turn the rear defrost on. Interesting still..

But I hear ya about the cold. I have a lot of projects coming up this April, myself.

Cheers!

Default Folding power mirror switch

The part number is # 15029708, this switch is original GM part. Might be able to find the switch on
EBay, thru the chevy/GMC parts department is showing the switch is not available! Still searching
for the wiring harness, for the power to the mirrors ( i.e. power movement).

I am updating the topic as promised Don't expect much though. Just for the record.
I am on the interior details and today I've removed the padding from the driver's door.
I found the switch with a dangling 10" wire. I can't see any socket to put the plug in. A door padding from another Blazer maybe? I have no clue...

On a closer look I've found the socket.
A left mirror reacts - I've got some movement, but the mechanism seems stuck and clicking. The right one is dead.

I have a 2002 right hand drive LS model that also has this switch.
My mirror heaters come on when I engage the heated seat switches.
I am having a bit of trouble getting the left mirror to fold out at times.
It folds in great, but doesn't want to return all the way.
Has anyone struck this before?

I'd be careful with those mirrors, they are super hard to come by. Can you take a pic of your PSID label in the glove compartment and post it or message it to me? I know it's an inconvenience but I'd like to research these mirrors some more and find out what option code these were. I'd appreciate it.

RPO CODE PLATE 2002 BLAZER
Mine has the folding mirrors that use that switch on the door trim. The heater component comes on with the seat heaters.

I have heated mirrors on my 99 lt 4 door, not sure when they come on, as I didnt have heated seats from factory, they must come on at a certain temperature. Not sure if it's just my location as well, but I come across these mirrors all the time, mostly working, our problem is a working mirror switch lol. Luckily got mine from a fellow member .
