Default Found a 95 blazer for sale. Should i buy it?

It’s been sitting outside an auto shop for about 4 months now. I’m unsure of the mechanics but there is duct tape on the body work and seems to have aftermarket side skirts. The undercarriage has some surface rust but otherwise looks decent. I have no idea if it runs yet but I’ll get a meeting with the owner soon. Any advice on wether it would be a good buy or not or what I might need to know would be great. Also, I’m a beginner in this stuff so bear with me.

Personally, I would avoid it. '95 is a weird transition year between OBD1 and OBD2 control systems, which means it can be difficult to work on, find parts for, etc. If you want a Blazer (and who doesn't, right?), the newer you can find, the better.

I probably should’ve mentioned this before but I plan to flip the car for a profit. I don’t intend on actually keeping it

If you can get it for a great price, and you're confident you can sell it at a profit with little to no repairs, then it might not be a bad idea. But, if it needs work, I'm standing by my previous advice.

I stay away from am 95 gm vehicle. As the others have said they can be a nightmare! I learned my lesson with a 95 suburban.

I had a '95 Blazer before my current one; unless you can get it for under $100..."just walk on by". I put a lot of time and money in that Blazer to keep it running/stopping. Not a vehicle to flip.....burn may be, but not flip. And actually I sold it to a guy that turned-out to be a very dishonest flipper. He washed it and put it up for sale for $1000 more than he paid me. Do not know what happened.

Again, "just walk on by".....
