Default Front Brake Issues

I'm new to the forum and a 1st time blazer owner! I just got an '01 4x4 Blazer. Today I replaced the wheel hub/bearings. Thanks to this site I had all tools and know how to takle it with ease! Two things I noticed: 1. The front brakes on both sides of the Blazer seem not to be wearing much at all? I have done plenty of brake/rotors in my time and have never seen a rotor rusty where the brake pads are suppose to "squeeze". I did not mess with anything brake related except open the bleeder to see if fluid was at the calipers. It was on both sides. I'm dumbfounded. It stops on a dime. What could it be? Also, after I installed the hubs I noticed I could wiggle the tire side to side on the passenger side. Tie rod end? if so are these hard to replace? Please respond!

I dunno why your brakes wouldn't be wearing but I'm assuming your other issue would be the tie rod ends and if that is the case they are not hard to replace we did it on my friends cavalier.
