Hey everyone… so I’ve got a 2000 Chevy Blazer LT 4DR 4WD V6 4.3L that’s based off a S10 Blazer, that I’m trying to remove the front bumper of. I’ve literally searched every where for a video or information about how to do this. I recently was in car accident where I front-ended someone, thank God no one was hurt. My truck is not totaled which is a plus. To save money I am trying to fix my truck myself along side my adopted dad, but mostly it’s me. I’ve taken majority of everything off and now I’m stuck at the bumper. Please help!!!
What’s left to take.. my front bumper My truck at the scene of the wreck.
I have removed the front bumper cover several times, never removed the actual steel bumper. I know there are two angled brackets on each end with two bolts each to the frame. You can see these brackets and bolts by looking into the area ahead of the front tire.
Go to LMC Truck....they have a one page exploded diagram that may help you. Try the link below....it might work...not sure.
Go here:Front Bumper and Components (lmctruck.com)
I had headlights, turn signals and the chrome strip that I had removed from my '02 that I could have sent you, but after two months of no one wanting them, I tossed them into the trash.
Good luck.
