Front Differential Problem
98 Blazer
Okay I did something realy stupid. If I would have read all the posts here 1st I could have avioded this problem. I had a problem with 4wd being engaged when 2wd was selected. I now know why ( vacuum swithch)...
But before I knew this, I was not sure if I was was in 4wd Hi or not so I tried doing some backward burnouts ( I know really a dumb thing to do!)
Now have a a very noticable sound at front left wheel when accelerating from stop. Sounds like stripped gears or slipping???
What do you think I damaged? Is it possible just a CV shaft that stripped or more severe?
