Default Front end rebuild on 99 Blazer 2wd

Hey guys for a while my front end makes a noise when Im making a sharp turn. I know I have needed front shocks for a while but I took a look with the wheels off and discovered on the front passenger side one the upper control arm bushing is shot.
My brother has a 2000 s-10 and had his control arms replaced at a shop, for $$$$ I don't have that to spend. So Im planning on replacing the following:
All UPPER & LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS, BALL JOINTS, and SHOCKS.
Except for taking it to get aligned some where is there anything else I should take into consideration since this would be a pretty big project to do. Upon completion I don't want to take apart my front end for a long time....

If you don't want to take it apart for a long time, make sure you don't cheap out on parts. Rockauto carries MOOG control arms for 2WD (they list it as RWD) fairly inexpensive too. They come with bushings and ball joints.

Make sure that all of your steering components and linkages are good. I changed all on my 98 when doing what you are talking about.

You can't really go wrong with MOOG. But definitely stay away from brands like Mevotech and brands with no name.
