front wheel hub assy

front wheel hub assy
I bought a cheap non-timken hub/bearing assy to replace when the one on my 95 blazer went bad
that was 6 months ago, and now the passenger side wheel is makin an awful racket again
so I pull off the wheel and find the abs pick-up ring on the backside has come loose and is flopping around between the spinning and non spinning parts of the hub
theres absolutely NO SIGN of how it was ever attached to the spinning part of the hub with the 5 lugs that the wheel bolts to
anybody ever had this problem?
Im bout to just weld the ring back to where it should be
only half the width of the ring passes beneath the abs sensor so a couple small tack welds probly wont hurt nuthin huh?

Thats what you get for buying China bearings. The napa ones for around $95.00 a piece seem to last decently ok. And they come with a 2 year warranty.
That is probably how they are attached from factory. Im not sure about the make-up of the steel. Probably just plain ol' mild steel. Watch heating it up too much. Is your bearing out of warranty. Im thinking its gonna be a bitch to try to weld that back on.
