Default Fuel issue?

I have a 1996 4dr 4wd blazer. This thing is strong engine and tranny wise. I have had a reaccuring problem though. Will be driving usally bout 30 to 40 miles and all the sudden I lose all power. The thing just shuts off, and i lose everything as if the battery had died. I can let it sit for about 5 -10 minutes and it will start agin but as soon as i get going down the road, it shuts right back off. The first thing that came to mind was the fuel pump. However after taking to a shop and having them get a duplictaion and hooking up to a pressure gauge they decided that it was the pressure regulater. The shop proceeded to change this. After getting vehicle back and driving for two days (88 miles one of the two), on the third day driving home the same problem happened. It is back at the shop that tried to fix the first time, and being looked into. Could someone please help point out another solution, or potential fix?

I have now changed the Ignition coil. If the problem consits I am going to take a look at ECM. Could someone please help me out with a ECM diagram for a 1996 Blazer.

Have you had them copy the problem and check the Transmission temp safety? I had one that acted like this and it turned out that the transmission was over heating and was shutting down the vehicle, had to wait about 10 min before I could drive it again. Just a thought
