Default Fuel Line broken

Hey folks I'm new to the forum and having a bit of an issue. My blazer is has been leaking gas for a bit but recently it's gotten excessive. Found a broken off line just kind of sitting on the frame today, and my best guess is that it's the fuel return line coming from the injector going back to the fuel tank (1995 4.3L, CPI). First of all, does this even make sense? Truck runs fine, just leaks gas like a mother. Second of all, will a complete replacement kit (FL444-A1 Set from Lines to Go) do the trick? I've never done this before but I'm hoping to give it a shot myself, since it would be a pretty big repair cost at a shop for a truck that's worth pretty much nothing. Tried to attach the picture, hopefully it worked.

A leak in the return line will not affect how the engine runs. It will affect how long it will run

The return line is 5/16" diameter, and you can safely repair it using compression unions and steel line available at most auto parts stores. Pressure in the return line is low, so in a pinch, you could use rubber "fuel rated" line, and a couple of hose clamps. Either way, cost would be under ~$25.
