Fuel pooling up by spider inj connector?

2002 Chevy Blazer LS 4x4 2door. I’ve been chasing down a horrible miss and bad idle and literally dies if left to idle after couple mins. Stomp the gas at idle and u hear that timing sound and sputters till 3-4K then kinda smooths out. Pulled the codes and got camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, and O2 bank 2 sensor 1. So I’ve started with basics and got new AC Delco double platinum plugs and new wires. Waiting on AC delco cap and rotor tomorrow. Hoping that maybe all this would clear some things up? So after doing plugs and wires I decided to inspect cap and rotor and did see carbon build up and some green on all the tips so I went ahead and used light sandpaper and sanded them shiny and reinstalled for now and made sure firing order was right. Then I look at the fuel lines coming into the top of intake and there is also a large plug that I assume hooks to the spider injector well in that area it is all pooled up with fuel and running down the back of intake and etc. is there some seals to replace there or does it need new spider? I would assume this could contribute to the ruff idle and lack of power?

When I had an injector go out on my '92 which pooled fuel in the intake where it poured into one of the cylinders I got O2 sensor errors.
I recently replaced the lower intake manifold gaskets on my 1999 along with replacing the fuel injection spider.
That area you describe on top of the intake manifold plenum where the electrical connector is should be dry. There is also a an o-ring that goes around the oval shape of the top of the spider that seals it to the hole into which it goes in the top of the upper intake manifold plenum. That o-ring should not allow any extra gas (or anything else for that matter) to get into the intake from the top of the plenum.
Perhaps there is fuel getting down into the intake from the top or by the throttle plate. Perhaps the ECM thinks is using more fuel than is actually getting to the cylinders.
No matter what is going on, you need to fix that leak as it is also a safety issue.
I don't have to tell you Gas + Electricity = BAD!
The two fuel lines go into the spider forward of the electrical plug. In those holes are at least a couple o-rings for each line. These lines are held in place by one little nut that holds down a small metal bracket. See if it it is loose. You might be lucky with all you have to do is push the lines back down and tighten the nut.

Sorry I didn’t mean for it to sound like fuel was leaking into the intake. It’s just building up there and then leaks down the back of the motor. Doesn’t seem to be seeping into the intake.
