Update: No such luck...rained all night and warm again today... misfiring so bad i didn't think i'd make it...drove with the 4ways on and right to the shop down the street from my work...told them what i've done and said fix it. I'm sick of this. Hopefully this is the end and it doesn't cost a fortune

Shop just called...said they swapped the cap and rotor and the problem is gone.

Fingers crossed...tonight after work(s) i'll post up and hopefully close this thread

Well the weather's cooled down a bit but the cap and rotor seem to have solved the issue.

Thanks for all your help Kyle and Tino.

Fingers crossed now i can just enjoy the hell out of my truck like i was supposed to from the beginning
