Default fuel pump help!

new delphi fuel pump installed. Sounds like its running but no pressure. Even disconnected the fuel line, turned key on, it came on and nothing comes out. Do you need to prime it?

No need to prime that I know of. Did you replace just the pump or the entire assembly?

If just the pump, then sounds like one of the lines has come off. I think you will be dropping the tank again.

I had the same issue when I did mine! Check all of your lines and wires and make sure everything is connected. The other dumb moment I had was that I had the back of the truck jacked up and a brand new fuel tank in the truck and I only put a little gas in the tank that all flowed to the front away from the pump so it would come on but had no gas to be pumping out lol! not sure it thats an issue in your case but not something that pops in most peoples head when trying to trouble shoot

Whole assembly replaced, thinking maybe one of the plastic tubes fell on the assembly itself. Have access to all the lines on top of the tank. Diconnected the fuel line, turn key on ,pump runs but nothing comes out. Thinking it should squirt 20 ft behind the truck. Thats why I`m thinking one of the ribbed tubes inside fell off putting it in

Default another fuel pump question

Replaced fuel pump, now have a pretty strong mist of gas coming out of one of the lines running along the frame. I know the intake line is around 55psi, what is the return pressure. And is the mist most likely from the intake line? Ordered a new intake line, 90 bucks. If its the return can I replace it with high pressure rubber hose?
