Ok good folks, i ordered a new Regulator today for my '95 Blazer 4.3,as i tried the whole engine flush, new spark plugs,IAC,MAP,CatConvert etc etc,to try to isloate the awful running condition of this beast to no avail.
So after the dealer has some issuesorering it for me, He says i have to plum this thing in(See picture),also,i don't know if it makes any difference, but there's nothing that comes out/goes in/holes on top.
Before i tear into this project..Does this look like it will fit in there somehow?? THX
Sorry the picis such crap!

Whoa, that regulator shouldnt go on your truck. If its a 95, then I'm guessing it has a CPI motor with an all metal intake? If so, then your drivability concern is most likely caused by a leaking spider injecter and or regulator found under the upper intake. They are all plastic and usually leak at the bends or atthe fuel line connector found at the rear of the intake. This can be found by doing a leak-down test on the fuel system...
I hope any of this could be helpful.

The dealer says it should adapt under the plenum, just next to the spider.I still for the life of me cannot figure out why he had such a hard time finding a new feul regulator for me(took him a full day to locate ($140) Are these regulators really such hard to find items?
I wonder if i should just replace everything while i'm going to have it apart(spider etc) as i just sick of living with this like like it is.

Naw the only regulator that goes there is the GM one, the regulator in your pic looks like a holley one that I would use on a carb (my old Jeep has that regulator). Besides, the stock regulator is controlled by vacuum, the other is not. It just wont work... Lol, tell that parts guy to get his head out of his tail pipe and find you a delco part!
If ya want I'll have my parts guy send ya one, ha ha!

Is this pic of your personal motor? Looks like your leak is on the drivers side, I see a bunch of cooked gas on that side.

Haha thx!
It IS most definatly a 'Holley' as your keen eye has picked up..this just picks at my rear this foolish ordering job of his!
No it's not a pic of my personal motor,as i still have the shakes at tearing my blazer apart, without the proper parts. If you were serious about the sending one my way..i think i'd bite that thar hook!

Alsoif this new holleyregulator was the correct one, should it have threads on it,where it goes into the engine? I thought it was supposed to just go into the hole with the two screws/like an IAC type thing.

Hmm, well these holley regulators are pretty much universal... you screw in a 3/8 nipple to the bottom and side, then change the pressure with the allen head on the top. They're simple but the pressure never stays the same... I always got to put a fuel gauge on mine...
