After searching I'm trying to understand the fuel vents... I replaced the fuel pump last night and filled it up today and it started gushing fuel...

I got under the car and i had forgot to hook up a vent hose. It wasn't running out of the vent, but the line that goes back to the canister... Is there something wrong here? I seems to me that this is gonna fill my charcoal canister behind the drivers rear tire, or is this normal?
